Our goal is to provide orphans in Angola with a safe and loving environment in which they can grow up and flourish. We provide shelter facilities that provide not only a roof over their heads, but also the care, nutrition and medical support they need. In addition, we strongly believe in the power of education. By working with local schools and communities, we ensure that every orphaned child has access to quality education. We provide support to schools through infrastructure improvements, providing learning resources and training teachers. In this way, we create a stimulating learning environment in which children can develop their knowledge and skills.
Besides education, we also focus on children’s health and well-being. We provide regular health checks, vaccinations and medical care. We also offer psychosocial support and counselling to help the children cope with the traumas they have experienced. Our aim is to strengthen their resilience and well-being so that they can look to the future with confidence and optimism.
Sustainability is an important aspect of our work. We implement agriculture and nutrition programmes to ensure food security for the children we support. Through education on farming techniques and growing crops, children learn not only how to produce nutritious food, but also valuable skills that give them independence.
